Message :As several of you already know, a month ago, after roughly three years of searching, I finally bought myself a Z.
:It took me a while to get pictures for multiple reasons. In the end, the broken family-camera mysteriously sprung to life out of pure respect for the Z.
:Before I start Pic Whoring, I need to say thanks to a few people:
:George (ZEngineer) and Jeff (spicyZ) have been a lot of help to me. They have tons of experience with the Z and are full of information when I need it.
:Since the Z I was buying was in Ottawa, Jeff even gave me contact information for a garage near him with a lot of Z knowledge.
:I had the car brought there the day I went to check it out, and found it was in excellent condition.
:I should also mention Jeff thinks he has admin-privileges. He sent me this e-mail on Monday:
:"You are hereby no longer allowed to post on tt.net until you make a post about your new car. Steal, borrow, buy a camera, but you're overdue :-)"
:We better all watch out; Jeff is going to banning us one-by-one ;~)
:James (Nis300owner) also gave me a hand by getting me the Carfax on the VIN. He has an unlimited account and had posted
:here that he would do checks for anyone, so I got in contact with him immediately.
:The title was clean as could be.
:I'd also like to give a big shout out to Johnny at Z1 (Jturbo@z1).
:I was in need of a rim and Johnny found the best one possible in the Z-graveyard and shipped it right out. I was expecting it to be really scratched up,
:but it is practically mint just like my other three wheels.
:Johnny is also always willing to talk about almost anything and gives great advice about the Z.
:Anyways, on to the pictures.
:Introducing the Rock & Roll Z!
:Enjoy!

:Here you can see the horrible side-fitments of the knock-off spoiler:

:Here you can see the horrible rear fitments of the knock-off spoiler.
:The edge should be flush with the taillights as far as I know.

:
:I need to re-align my passenger headlight. It is really out of line with the hood etc.
:As a matter of fact, the hood also needs to be re-aligned a bit on that side.

:Interior shots:

:Here is the idiotic sub-box that came with the car.
:You cannot really see it but there is a bit of room between the edge of the trunk and the box.
:The fabric matches the interior very well, but I'd like to have some T-Top room.
:ChrisZTT I'll be in touch eventually!

:Engine shots:

:And finally, my Zs new home:

:You would not believe the mess that was in this garage two weeks prior to me purchasing the car.
:The right spot was completely full of junk. It built up over a course of at least 8 years.
:My mother and I tossed 95% of it to the curb, and 80% of that was taken by scavengers. "One man's trash is another man's treasure" has never been so true.
:After emptying it out, we cleaned the hell out of it. Our newly purchased Power Washer came in hand here washing out all the caked-on dirt on the floor.
:You have NO idea how dirty it was. We hadn't cleared and washed the garage in years.
:Now it is all clean and makes a really nice home for my Z.
:I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures.
:I have a few things to take care of for now:
:1) Rear Hatch Struts (McMaster replacement method)
:2) Left Headlight & Hood Adjustment
:3) 120k Maintenance (Just to be safe)
:4) Woody75 Short-Throw Shifter w/ SPL Bronze Bushings (Shifter is in the mail)
:I am going to do the 120k Maintenance when I take the Z out again after winter ends.
:If anyone wants to have a tech-day and install it with me, that would be very helpful.
:I'd rather not pay someone to do the labour if I can do it with someone who has experience with it.
:If you have any comments or suggestions, post away.
:The floor is all yours, TT.net!
